Our facilities are licensed by the New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services and are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Our facility is dedicated to providing the highest quality imaging services using state-of-the-art equipment. Referring physicians are provided with accurate diagnostic information in an efficient manner through our voice recognition technology. Voice recognition allows referring physicians to receive a written report within 2 hours of the testing procedure.

All Able Imaging technologists are nationally certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. All CT and MRI Technologists hold advanced board certification in their specialties. Our radiologist, Dr. Stark, is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has advanced fellowship training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Advanced Body Imaging.

About Dr. Ira Stark

Dr. Stark was born in 1953 in Long Island, New York.  He has been married for 25 years and has two children.  He is an avid painter in oil medium.

Dr. Stark received his Bachelor of Science degree from Beloit College in 1974.  He attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1978.  He did his internship at Kennedy Health System in Cherry Hill, New Jersey form 1978 to 1979.  He had a family practice in Voorhees and Camden, New Jersey until 1990.  Dr. Stark finished his residency in Diagnostic Imaging at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City.  He then did a one-year fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Stark was Medical Director of Magnetic Imaging at Kennedy Hospital from 1997 to 2000.  He was an Assistant Professor at Temple University and the Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in body imaging during that time.  Dr. Stark was also Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship at Temple University.

In 2004 Dr. Stark became the Medical Director at Able Imaging and Wellness.  He is proficient in CAT scan, Ultrasound, Magnetic imaging to include Neuroradiology, Body and Musculoskeletal imaging.   He also has completed specialized training in Virtual Colonoscopy. 

Dr. Stark has always been in the forefront of preventative medicine, having published articles on this subject during his time in family practice.  He has now incorporated diagnostic imaging with his advocacy of preventative medicine to include virtual colonoscopy and whole body imaging.
